Travelling through three separate countries, Tibet, Nepal and India, the Kali Gandaki River runs for 391 miles and is older than the Himalayas. There are no roads to the river banks making this trip the epitome of isolation.
The adventure begins with a stay in Kathmandu before continuing on to Pokhara to begin the second phase of your trip and then onwards to the Lower Kali Gandaki. This gives you a good insight into the people and the Nepalese culture, as well as a good acclimatisation to the area before your river adventure takes off.
With an epic backdrop of lakes reflecting the might of the Himalayas in the distance, Pokhara is the perfect setting for the starting point of your trek. The next four days will take you on a spectacular trek around this region before taking to the waters.
The trek takes in some of the most spectacular views of the Himalayas, including peaks such as Dhaulagiri (8,167m). Throughout it you will stay in traditional tea houses and pass through the beautiful Modi River Valley, with lush valley walls, passing waterfalls with deep pools.
At the end of the trek you will begin preparing your for the next stage of adventure in the wilderness. getting backlinks Starting at Ramdi over the next five days you will raft through challenging rapids in some of the most beautiful and isolated stretches of river on Earth. At night you will make camp on untouched shores of the river.

On the eleventh day you will exit the river and head to the Chitwan National Park – 932 km² of some of the richest flora and fauna in the region, as well as being one of the oldest National Parks in Nepal.
